Based in the heart of Western North Carolina, my approach is editorial yet deeply personal, blending each couple’s story with a sense of refined, romantic elegance.
But behind the aesthetic is something much simpler: a love of people, collaboration, and thoughtful organization. After years of working throughout the wedding industry in a variety of roles alongside talented planners, venues, and vendor teams, I founded WiseChild Weddings & Events to create a planning experience that feels calm, supportive, and genuinely collaborative.
I believe the best celebrations come from intention. My role is to guide the planning process with clarity and care, making sure couples feel supported while every detail — from timelines to tiny design elements — is handled with purpose.
Equally important to me is creating a welcoming space for all couples and all love stories. Weddings should be joyful, affirming celebrations, and I’m proud to support and plan events for couples of every background, identity, and orientation.
I also care deeply about the incredible community of vendors and venues that make weddings possible. This industry thrives on connection, and I’m always happy to recommend other talented professionals if they’re a better fit for a couple’s vision or personality. Finding the right planning partner matters, and referrals within the community are something I value deeply.
When I’m not planning weddings, you’ll often find me sewing (a craft I’ve loved for more than 25 years), attending renaissance festivals, playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends, or spending time with my family and my very opinionated cat. Creativity and storytelling have always been part of my life, and I bring that same spirit into every celebration I help create.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple goal: to make the planning process feel calm, meaningful, and genuinely enjoyable — so couples can focus on the moment while everything else falls beautifully into place.
