Working with Kay was a true breath of fresh air and a relief during such a stressful time! In an industry where it can feel like the vendors and venues hide the true costs and you're drowning in details and quotes, having Kay at our backs was a blessing. Kay did so much behind-the-scenes work: coordinating with vendors, giving us needed advice, and in general being a touchpoint of sanity. On our wedding day, she solved problems we didn't know existed, and we were truly able to just enjoy our day. Kay helped make our wedding journey smooth and our wedding day mindlessly happy.

My name is Nick Varraso and I am a Wedding DJ and Wedding Director. I have DJed weddings
for 12 years and Directed weddings for 10 years. I had the opportunity to work with Kay on a
wedding in September of 2025. She is, hands down, the most organized, talented, and
thoughtful coordinator I have ever experienced in this industry. Her attention to detail is
unmatched. Her team really invests in the belief that we are there to create something special,
something momentous, for the happy couple. Having been in the industry for over a decade, I
have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to coordinators. What Kay
accomplished at this wedding, at a venue where the ceremony and reception were separated
by a tenth of a mile mountain hike, was nothing short of spectacular. Kay’s professionalism and
dedication to the task of creating a moment of happiness to last a lifetime, a perfect day
captured in the memories of the bride, groom, and all the guests, is unrivaled. I cannot

One of the joys of planning weddings in Western North Carolina is the incredible variety of venues that make each celebration unique. I’m fortunate to work with many beautiful locations throughout the region, and these are a few of my favorites!
